Our story
It started with mental health.
FindClinicDays began with a simple observation about mental healthcare in Nigeria.
While exploring access to mental health services, our founders noticed that people often struggled to find clear information about where these services were available. A patient or family member might know they needed to see a psychiatrist or another mental health professional, but finding the right facility, knowing when the clinic operated, and understanding how to access the service could be difficult.
The problem was not always the absence of care. Sometimes, people simply did not know where to find it.
As we began exploring ways to make mental health services easier to find, we realized that the same challenge existed across many other areas of specialist healthcare. Someone looking for a neurologist, cardiologist, dermatologist, endocrinologist, ophthalmologist or another specialist could face similar questions:
Which hospital offers the service? What day does the clinic run? Do I need an appointment or referral? What should I know before I go?
This realization led us to expand the idea beyond mental health.
FindClinicDays was created to make information about specialist healthcare services across Nigeria easier to find and understand. By bringing together information on hospitals, specialties, clinic schedules, locations and practical visit requirements, we want to help people make more informed decisions before leaving home.
Our goal is simple: help people know where to go, when to go and what to expect.

Nigeria has only about 9,364 medical specialists serving more than 230 million people.

We envision a Nigeria where finding and navigating specialist healthcare is simpler, regardless of where a person lives or the type of care they need.
As we grow, we plan to introduce Care Navigation Services, connecting people with trained Care Navigators who can provide guidance, help identify appropriate services, and support patients through their healthcare journey.
Because finding the right care should not be the hardest part of getting care.
That belief is the reason FindClinicDays exists — and it guides every update we ship.
